What is your opinion regarding the differences of opinion among the various schools of jurisprudence?

There is no harm in the differences among the juristic schools in matters pertaining to the subsidiary branches of Islamic law, for such differences are not detrimental; rather, they represent flexibility, capaciousness, and mercy for those legally accountable. Juristic disagreement has existed since the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Companions of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) differed in their understanding of many legal matters, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not object to their differences.
