Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, received today a high-level delegation from the Evangelical Church headed by the President of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, Pastor Andrea Zaki, to congratulate the Mufti on the occasion of ‘Eid al-Adha and hajj season.

During their meeting, Dr. Allam stressed that such important visit reflects the spirit of love and coexistence that distinguishes the Egyptian society’s fabric and attests to the unbreakable unity among Egypt’s Muslims and Christians.

From his part, Pastor Andrea Zaki congratulated the Grand Mufti on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and hajj season and expressed his wish for peace and love to prevail in Egypt.
