Egypt's Grand Mufti Condemns Occupation Forces' Unacceptable West Bank Attack on Diplomats

His Eminence Dr. Nazir Mohammed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, strongly condemned the targeting of an international diplomatic delegation by Israeli occupation forces during their visit to the city of Jenin. He described the attack as a flagrant violation of diplomatic norms and a blatant breach of international law.
His Eminence affirmed that this incident is part of a continuous pattern of systematic violations committed by the occupation forces, including deliberate killings, starvation, and forced displacement—acts which he described as a form of genocide.
The Grand Mufti called on the international community to assume its moral, legal, and humanitarian responsibilities by taking immediate action to stop these atrocities and hold the perpetrators accountable. He stressed that the Palestinian cause will remain a matter of faith, justice, and humanity, regardless of how long the aggression persists.
