The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, inquired about the health of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, following a mild illness, praying for his swift recovery.

Dr. Nazir emphasized the Grand Imam’s esteemed scholarly and religious stature and his pivotal role in promoting moderation and addressing the concerns of the Muslim Ummah. The Mufti also supplicated to Allah to grant him a full recovery, elevate his rank, and bless his efforts so that Al-Azhar remains a beacon of guidance for future generations.
